This is need for the TYT9000D ,Retevis RT9000D, GMRS (or HAM version) two-way radio, this cable will NOT work with any other radios!!. It will let you add a DB9 port onto the radio!!! This does NOT include interface board or radio that is sold separately!!! Very easy to install you take the cover off the radio and plug in the cable, PLUG and PLAY, no soldering!!!

This fits much better than the “white” plug ones that are out there!!!

NOTE: To have this work as a full repeater, you will also need a some type of interface board too!!! The cable(s) themselves do NOT make it into a repeater!!! The cables give you the connection that are need for an interface board!! Due to time, sorry, I am unable to answer questions on how to hookup/make DIY interface board.

NOTE: You MAY have to make the holes bigger on the DB9 connector that is on the cable due to different screw spacing on the radios!
