The package will include the following:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

(1) Top (plastic housing, which screws onto the bottom housing) black in color<\/p>\n

(1) bottom (plastic housing, with a hole for a 3\/4 inch PVC pipe for mounting) black in color<\/p>\n

(1) so-239 connector<\/p>\n

NO HARDWARE!!!<\/span><\/p>\n

NO ANTENNA OR GROUND PLANE YOU HAVE TO MAKE THAT INFO ON THAT BELOW!!!<\/span><\/p>\n

NOTE: plastic is for outside, however I highly<\/b> recommend spraying it with a clear coat for plastic<\/span> that has UV resistance<\/span> in it!! I would put silicone around the opening where the antenna comes out too!!<\/span><\/h4>\n

Here is a link to that type of clear coat spray paint NOTE it don’t say on the website that it’s UV resistance, but it does say that on the can!!<\/p>\n

Parts that are NOT include<\/span><\/span> are:<\/h4>\n

(4) #6 14-16AWG ring terminal which fits a 2.17mm steel rod diameter (if you don’t want to solder the ground plane rods to the so-239 connector, your local hardware store should have this) link to this: https:\/\/www.gardnerbender.com\/en\/p\/20-103\/16-14-AWG-2-mm-sq-Vinyl-Insuled-Ring<\/a><\/p>\n

(4) 6-32 with nuts (if you don’t want to solder the ground plane rods to the so-239 connector, your local hardware store should have this)<\/p>\n

(1) 3mm x 3mm Coupling Coupler (if you don’t want to solder antenna onto So-239 connector, your local hardware store may have this)<\/p>\n

You have to make the antenna and ground plane<\/span> which is a steel rod that can be a steel coat hanger wire, which is 2.17mm in diameter!!<\/p>\n

(1) foot of 3\/4 inch PVC pipe this pipe fits into the bottom!! Then you would use a U-bolt to mount it to your mast!!<\/p>\n

Use this online 1\/4 wave calculator to get the length of the rods you will need for the antenna and ground plane:<\/p>\n
