Will interface board work with solar power?

YES, it will work! There are two different ways you can do this!

1). Use an AC inverter and plug the wall adapter in!
OR
2). The AC wall adapter that is on the interface board outputs 12VDC, so if you don't want to use an Ac inverter, you can cut the AC wall adapter plug off and hook it direct to 12VDC only!!
Red wire to positive (+)
Black wire is negative (-)

NOTE: You can leave the interface board unplug from power if you are ONLY going to be using Date & time and/or repeater ID!! Power is only needed for ZELLO to work!!
